Israel
It is interesting to see that those who hate Israel and have said they want to destroy it are trying to get nuclear energy for "peaceful" uses. The Bible tells us what will happen. Depending on what happen next, we could be in the days foretold in prophecy. We will see.

Thoughts
There is something about going to the Holy Land that makes one want to go back and visit again. There is far too much to take in on one trip. Maybe, some day in the future, we will visit again.

Bread in Egypt
In Egypt, we learned the word they use In Arabic for bread is "aish". The young man who served us this bread near the pyramids taught us many words. When we got home we learned the Arabic word for bread everywhere else is "khobz". It is only called "aish" in Egypt. "Aish" is the Arabic word for "life". It was in the news because of the bread shortage in Egypt with the fires in Russia destroying the wheat.
Bread is subsidized in Egypt so even the very poor can buy it. About half of the people in Egypt live on less than $2 a day.
We believe Jesus is the bread of life. What an interesting connection.

Jet Lag
We are home and have been for a week. We are still a bit tired from jet lag. Life looks a bit different now in some ways. We appreciate clean water and safe food. The temperatures in the low to mid 90's are hot, but it doesn't feel quite as bad. Even with the humidity, it is cooler feeling than the desert.
