Traffic

The traffic is crazy. People cut in front of others and sometimes there are no lines. People just dart all over. The bus drivers do a wonderful job. Israel is better than Egypt or Jordan traffic-wise. All tour buses in Egypt and Jordan have a security person.

In every country, there are guards/soldiers armed with machine guns at various places, especially on the roadsides. It was not scary though. They were just doing their job.
